The Bible Codes 2000 Main Screen
Shown at 80% of normal size, Bible Codes 2000 gives complete nikud (vowelization marks) in the Koren Torah and Tanach Hebrew text, and you can turn off the nikud too if you'd like. The English Bible text is a recent direct translation from Hebrew to English; with the Hebrew and English scripture texts synchronized for easy use in Bible studies. The buttons allow you to jump by chapter or book, or use the go-to button to go to a specific book-chapter-verse location.
The versatility of Bible Codes 2000 is shown by the View menu below. You can change the display font for both the English and Hebrew scripture windows, or change the font size to make it easier to read. You can put separating lines between the verses to further enhance your use, and turn on/off the nikud (vowelization marks) in the Hebrew scriptures. Synchronized Hebrew and English scripture text windows are great, but you can turn off synchronization if you want to go faster. You can display the Hebrew verse numbers as letters or use numbers. Display/Print the whole name of God allows the Orthodox Jewish user to not display the entire ineffable memorial name of God (YHVH) by leaving out the first hey and replacing it with a dash. In doing this the Orthodox Jewish person is avoiding breaking the halachic mandate against destroying anything with God's proper name on it. The color of specified letter is used when a Bible code term is searched for. The program automatically highlights each letter in the Hebrew text using the color you assign.
