Ark Code, by Barry Roffman
Dr. Robert Haralick wrote an outstanding Foreword for Ark Code, summarizing the present state of codes development and recent superb advancements in totally refuting skeptics like Dr. Brendan McKay. Everyone will find his Foreword enlightening. Dr. Haralick is chairman of the International Torah Code Society (ITCS) and a distinguished professor at City University of New York.
What's the whole premise of the Ark Code book? Barry Roffman has spent about 7-8 years developing the concept of ELS maps in the Bible code. He reveals the results of that work in his book, Ark Code, and then applies it to search for the location of the Ark of the Covenant.
Barry takes you through the evidence for the location of the Ark and his preliminary on-site trip to scout out the geographical location. The book has over 45 Bible code matrices, 10 ELS map matrices, and 10 geographical maps including satellite pictures. Also sprinkled throughout the book are numerous artist's renditions of the Ark of the Covenant.
What is also interesting are the chapters on alternative theories on the location of the Ark by others. Barry shows why many of them can be eliminated entirely with careful thinking and application of written evidence, including but not limited to scriptural evidence. Here's a fact. Many Jewish sages throughout the centuries have written about two Arks, one being a duplicate. So while Barry can eliminate a number of the Ark site locations in his book, a couple of others cannot be lightly dismissed. This two-Ark concept leaves room for Barry's prime site to be the location for one of the two Arks, while another theoretical site may have the other. It's an interesting saga.
